Here are some of my current favorite links…I’ll add more as we go along…

* Australia’s only unusualist (shadow artist)
* Chili Gonzalez with Feist - groovy dancing and costume change half way though
* Sinatra and Jobim
* Dylan (”Restless Farewell”) - from Frank Sinatra’s 80th birthday show. This song requested by Sinatra… Beautiful lyric.
* Dylan in Japan - with orchestra singing “A Hard Rain’s A Gonna Fall”
* singing site - put in some text and it will be sung back to you
* Ooh la la, Scotland v France
* Full Larry Sanders seasons here
* Kanye West’s “Can’t Tell Me Nothing” - hilarious video with Will Oldham
* the Clash - live 1980 “White Man In Hammersmith Palais

Enjoy…let me know what you think.

    John: That singing site is hilarious…I put in “John is a genius,” but apparently it didn’t recognize the word genius, because what came out was something very dirty-sounding and exotic. Other permutations of this idea were more G-rated.

    Hullo John,

    Thanks for posting that wonderful cornucopia of links! Very useful to past time on a slow work day:) I tried the singing site and they didn’t recognize the world “trashcan”..very odd..here’s what they sang for me:

    The trashcan sinatras are the greatest band in all the world. That’s all there is to say and they’re definately worth more air play.

    hope all’s well in glasgow, i miss it so.
    lots of love

    John. Great links. Larry Sanders and Dylan in Japan are hard to beat but I think I can trump them all with……….
